Creating positive footprints

The Pink Shoe Winter Soiree

Once again we spent a lovely evening in the Jubilee Room hosted by Loraine Midda, Jill Pay and Helene Martin Gee as we all wound down for the holiday season.

This is the perfect way to end the working year and has become something of an annual institution for Pink Shoe Club.

The stupendous buffet and lots of fizz helped create the perfect party atmosphere for members and guests.

The dress code of ‘cocktail’ was fabulously demonstrated by many glamorous ladies, especially Diana Chrouch in super chic cocktail hat!

Tessa Sanderson Foundation Dinner

Pink Shoe members joined Patron Tessa Sanderson CBE for a spectacular event at the Grange City Hotel, to raise funds for her charitable Foundation.

Tessa was on the top of her game as she sparkled as our host for the evening along with husband Densign White.

We had a table at the event and were able to meet many leading sports personalities and Olympic winners, as well as celebrate the upcoming young British athletes that Tessa’s charity supports.

After a Champagne reception we heard from a talented young musician playing classical guitar and were then flamboyantly entertained by Incognito, who had us all standing waving our napkins and joining in with the opera classics.

The auction went well as we bid for items including a Banksy limited edition, and one of our table bought a lovely painting from the artist Jax.

Thanks to Tessa and team, especially to Pat for all her hard work in creating such a great event.

British Technology Institute Court Dinner

Pink Shoe members joined Lord Ahmed in the Cholmondeley Room of the House of Lords for the British Institute of Technology & E-Commerce Annual Court Dinner and Awards.

Lord Ahmed welcomed guests and then presented students from BITE with their Awards.

With leading technology businesses, academics, members of the APPGE advisory board and other top professionals this was an interesting evening.
