Snap Election Aperitivo

On the final day of Parliament we organised an impromptu Aperitivo for Ambassadors and friends as a final gathering before the election.

Members had a great evening and were able to catch up with each other in more intimate surroundings.

We were particularly glad to be able to celebrate a rather special Birthday for Ambassador Susan Greenwood!

Spring President's Luncheon

Pink Shoe Ambassadors enjoyed a splendid champagne luncheon
hosted by Helene Martin Gee.

The occasion was arranged to announce some of the activities that are being planned to mark the 10th anniversary of Pink Shoe, taking place in 2017.

Over a marvellous lunch in a private dining room overlooking the river, Ambassadors were first to hear of the exciting plans that will unfold over the coming year.

Lunch & Learn: Inside IP

For the second in its series of Lunch & Learn seminars in the city the topic was Intellectual Property - swimming with the sharks and not getting eaten!

Considering all aspects of IP, with a special focus on how to do business with major corporates from the perspective of an SME.

In this fascinating and highly informative seminar we got the inside track from two excellent speakers: James Martin, IP Partner at DMH Stallard and Mark Cruickshank, IP Legal Counsel at RBS.

From business case studies to top tips, delegates gained valuable insights to take away to their own business.

As with the first seminar, information and ideas will be included in Pink Shoe's Scale-Up Report to be published in November.

With thanks to DMH Stallard for generously supporting this event.

River Room Reception with Beanstalk charity

To announce an exciting new charity partnership with the children's literacy charity Beanstalk, by kind permission of the Lord Speaker Pink Shoe held a reception in the River Room of the House of Lords hosted by The Lord Polak.
