February Aperitivo
Pink Shoe Ambassadors and members met with the spring BoardAble cohort along with alumnae from the programme for well-deserved informal drinks and networking after the first seminar.
We were delighted to be joined by new members attending their first event and by the wonderful Victor Pinnock from the Cabinet Office, who was able to share details of the public appointments process and the wide range of opportunities available.

BoardAble spring 2020
The BoardAble programme is going from strength to strength with another excellent cohort recruited in spring 2020.
Candidates are put through a rigorous application process just as if applying for a Ministerial Public Appointment so gaining a place on the programme is already an achievement.
The first session put delegates through their paces and the group did remarkably well. No details here, as the process is kept confidential to ensure each cohort gains equal opportunity and learning from the challenges placed upon them.
Congratulations to our eight excellent participants and a big thank you to the observers and course tutors who give their time, energy and expertise towards greater board diversity and to deliver more women and diverse candidates in public life.
